FAQ
Are human buildings/structures allowed in my post?
Yes, and in the future we may even have some boards dedicated to a few of the final remaining "buildings". However, keep in mind that the plot's current year is 1656, meaning there is no concrete, metal framing, or anything of the like. All buildings will have completely natural materials and may not be as sturdy as present day buildings. They also will not be as big, as the people were more into agriculture than they were a green yard. So in summary: all buildings must be small and built from realistic materials that would have existed in 1656, such as wood.
Can my dog have a dog collar or old human artifact?
No, until these items are made purchasable in the near future, your dog can not have a collar or other human made object or anything given to a dog from a human. Once these items are made purchasable, these items can only be worn and used on a character after they've been bought from our store.
Do I need 1 account?
Yes, everything in character and out of character can be done with one account. This is a 1 account per person site.
Are characters of different sexualities allowed?
Yes, you are free to do with your characters whatever they want, so long as it still fits in with our plot.
Can I add onto my character biography?
Yes, but you can not take away from the biography. If you want to add "voice", "smell", "likes", "dislikes", anything really: you can.
Just make sure you have the bare minimum of what our biography needs first.
How long has it been since humans disappeared?
Humans have been gone 15 years so far.
Can my character cry?
Yes, I don't see why not!
What are the canines lifespans?
While this is a question better answered by Google, I'll explain it best as I can. In regards to the wild species allowed: whatever they naturally live to be. (this applies to wolves, foxes, coyotes, and all other wild animals) Google it and if you can show me a credible site that says bears live until 12 years old, then you can have a 12 year old bear. As for the dogs of the website: find their average lifespan and subtract about 2 years seeing as how they won't have the comfy lifestyle of the humans. For example: a Golden Retriever generally lives around 10-12 years. So their Instincts Lifespan would be 8-10 years. Meaning the oldest you could make a Golden is 9, as that would give you a year to play them.
