❝ We all must be dreaming this life away
in a world so cold ❞
in a world so cold ❞
She...didn't seem to really understand how claiming things, let alone territory, worked. But...at least she was having fun?
As she continued to merrily bounce her way about the life rich valley, she abruptly paused, jaw nearly dropping as her eyes set upon something absolutely wonderful. It's figure was absolutely perfect - its skin was smooth, and yet, its form was so...majestic.
It was the most perfect stick she had ever laid her eyes on.
"This...this is definitely mine!" The dog announced in a loud bark as she bounced - yes, she actually bounced - forward. The stick in itself was actually pretty big - but, she was a big dog. And so, it only took a mere moment of hefting before her jowls had closed around it and picked it up. Adding a little 'pep to her step', as though to show off her newest treasure, she pranced forward as though she were the queen of the forest. Nothing could kill her vibe right now!
Until she was met with a challenge. That challenge being that the- her stick was far too long for her to easily maneuver it through the trees. And so, she soon found it...well, stuck, wedged between two trees and not moving, not matter how much she tried to wiggle it here.
"Alright, just gotta twist my head around a little," Her voice was slightly muffled as she tilted her head, letting her large paws dig themselves into the soft ground as she hunkered her position.
"And pull...and...pull!" Apparently, it hadn't clicked to her that trying to force a stick that big through the thick, yet narrow trees wasn't a good idea. Pulling with all her might, she could've sworn she felt the stick wiggling free!...And then her back paw slipped on a leaf, sending the fluffball of a dog rolling.
"Oof!" She grunted as her body lurched forward again and again, rolling through bushes and brambles, sticks and twigs prodding painfully against her fur and ripping some out. Finally, she came to a stop, with a rather large bush 'breaking' her tumble. As she tried to stand, she found herself...stuck. The branches of the bush were caught in her thick mess of fur - as though they were constricting vines.
"Uh-oh," the dog whimpered softly before she let out a small huff.
"This is how the 'Great Pandora' meets her valiant end? By a dumb plant! Hah, as if!" With a load boast, she began to try and wriggle herself free, forcing her body to lurch forward, only to yelp. Thorny brambles digging into her sides and clumps of white fur beginning to line the bush, she realized that resistance seemed pretty...futile.
"Ow, ow, okay, I take it back - this might be the Great Pandora's end," The thick furred dog whimpered, seeming all but ready to give up.
